I have been Artist-in-Residence at Chester Cathedral since January 2019. It is a real privilege to work in such beautiful surroundings. I enjoy many aspects of my role: engaging with visitors; working with families and school groups; attending events and exploring the building with my camera and sketchbook. I love the everyday sights and sounds of the cathedral - the music rehearsals, creation of floral arrangements, and the excitement of groups touring the building.
The pandemic has interrupted my time at Chester Cathedral but I hope to be back soon. For now, I am busy curating an exhibition of mosaics to be held in the Chapter House in early 2022.
